Two buildings of Mallankinaru PHC Renovated with ONGC - CSR support

Mallankinaru Primary Health Centre in Virudhunagar district serves to the mostly agrarian population of around 20,000 people in and around the town.
OP ward building and the Labour Ward building of the Primary Heatlh Care Centre (PHC ) were in damaged condition. Both the buildings faced severe water leakage in terrace and walls in 2024 November rains, and were in need of immediate renovation.
This PHC got a facelift as ONGC supported the cause through CSR and the PHC was renovated in February 2026. This CSR initiative of ONGC was taken forward by Anbalaya Foundation along with the support of District Collector Dr. N.O. Sukhaputra IAS.
The renovated buildings of Mallankinaru were formally opened on 20th February 2026
Mr. Santosh Kumar, Superintendent Engineer of ONGC and Mr. Ranjeet Virali Murugesan , Chief Manger (HR) inaugurated the renovated buildings. Mr. T. Rajesh Kannan MBBS, Block Medical Officer, Mallankinaru presided over the inaugural event. Mrs. Sharmila, Managing Trustee and Mr.Thirugnanam, Trustee of Anbhalayaa Foundation coordinated the event.
The renovated buildings came in to public use from the date of inauguration itself.
